The Ndox Électrique is a possession ritual from the Senegalese n’döep ceremonies. Wild, dark and solar, feminine and powerful, calling the spirits to challenge the modern world with incantations, dances and ancestral percussions, electric guitars and computers. On stage, healing mistresses & musicians make a pact with the demons: it will take much more than good intentions but sweat and enormous volume to achieve emancipation & deliverance.

It’s extremely strong, often violent, women dominate and people will only have respite when all their demons will be satisfied. It’s coming from the deep, obscure & primordial Senegal and it will be released by BONGO JOE RECORDS on November 03, 2023.

We’ve been touring obviously Senegal at first (https://youtu.be/2eIMLRG5w8o). We will be for our first time in the West on the mainstage of the GUESS WHO? festival (Utrecht, NL) on the 12 November 2023 followed by other rituals in December, then back during the end of Spring & Summer 2024.
