Tražimo parove (između 20 i 35 godina) koji su pogođeni krizom u Europi. Oni žive u Sevilli, Dublinu, Rigi, Solunu ili Zagrebu. Muškarce i žene koji su zaposleni ili pokušavaju pronaći neki posao. Tražimo ljude koji su u vezi u ovim teškim vremenima te žive zajedno (samostalno ili dijele kućanstvo s nekim).

Film će se temeljiti na postojećim pričama i odnosima protagonista, no film ćemo također razvijati u suradnji te stvoriti zajednički priču koja će biti snimljena kao “strukturirana stvarnost”. Protagonisti će biti plaćeni za svoje sudjelovanje. Film će biti divlji, radikalan, održavat će čvrsto stajalište – i biti će ogoljen.

Ovaj film je emocionalno istraživanje. Bez komentiranja ili intervjua, dokumentirat će pet mjesta i deset ljudi. Film će biti iskren i bez tabua. Prigrlit će golotinju, jer se nema što za izgubiti. Mi se ne pretvaramo. Mi jesmo. Mi se borimo, volimo, kuhamo i vodimo ljubav. Prikazat ćemo parove koji predstavljaju našu generaciju. To je film koji može biti snimljen samo SADA, uz vašu pomoć i bez odlaganja.

Synopsis
Five couples are on the edge of Europe. With charm, sex and love they struggle with everyday life. This is a political movie portrayed in images, not in words. It is a contemporary movie. This social commentary film will evoke empathy in the audience but will be political in context.

Five couples are geographically separated but they are joined in their fight for life under the roof of Europe.
Seville, Dublin, Riga, Thessaloniki, Zagreb. Europe, she loves.
The “Nation of Two”
The physical and emotional sphere is the only refugee; it is the last resort of the humane.
Autumn comes along in Europe and the streets are boiling. We will film the “Nation of two” in the private sphere of homes. It will not focus on the centre of Europe, but instead on the threshold. It will be a picnic on the edge. The contrast of the public and private space will convey the feeling of a continent in upheaval. Shop-windows are breaking down and people are in queues for work and food. Simultaneously two people are trying to live together.

The whole is reflected in its parts – and vice versa.
Just as decisions have to be made by a government, be it out of rational, emotional
or economic reasons, we can observe the same structures in the smallest of groups; a relationship. It will be a documentary about how the “Nation of two” becomes a parable of a continent.
Next steps.
We are looking for couples (between 20 and 35 years old), which are affected by the crisis and Europe. They live in Sevilla, Dublin, Riga, Thessaloniki or Zagreb. Men and women who work or try to find some. People in relationships living together through difficult times (alone or in a flat share). The film will be based around the existing stories and relationships of the protagonists. However we will develop the film with the protagonists and create a mutual story, which will be filmed as a ‘structured reality’.
The protagonists will be compensated for their involvement. The film will be wild, radical, and will take a tough stance – and naked.
This movie will be an emotional exploration. Without commentary or interviews
it will document five places and ten people. The movie will be honest and without taboo. It will embrace nakedness because there is nothing to loose. We don’t pretend. We are. We fight, love, cook and make love.
It will show couples that represent our generation. It is a movie that can only be made NOW, with your help and without delay.
